Against was established in year 2000 in the center of Barcelona. We specialize in modern furniture designed by architects and 20th-century decorative arts.
This website is an introduction to our extensive collection of furniture, lighting, and objects includes pieces from France, Italy, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, the United States and other European countries, with a particular focus on Spanish design from the 1940s to the 1980s, including well-known, rare, and previously unknown pieces.
In recent years, we have contributed to the cataloging and exhibition of the work of Spanish designers from the 1950s and 60s. The gallery maintains relationships with architects, museums, collectors, and interior designers worldwide, offering a meticulous packing and shipping service for all pieces.
All our items are carefully selected and professionally restored to ensure they represent the highest quality and condition.
Restoration
All our products undergo rigorous condition testing to ensure they function perfectly in the years to come.
From a thorough cleaning and checking electrical components in the case of lamps to a complete professional restoration of wood in the case of furniture. As well as new upholstery done by professionals with the highest quality fabrics and materials, always preserving the original character of each design.
Warehouse
Visits to the warehouse are by appointment.
Our warehouse is located in the center of Barcelona and is the place where you can see the pieces we have on the website and many others that are not yet online or are pending restoration.

Payment
Credit card payments are not accepted.
After your order is confirmed, we will issue a formal invoice with necessary company and bank details for payment.
Shipping
We have extensive experience in shipping items domestic and internationally. All our pieces are professionally packaged, carefully considering the safest packaging in each piece, in many cases, due to fragility or weight, we often order custom-made wooden crates.
